EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) in the Schools with Adriana Popescu, Ph.D.
EFT Tapping for School Psychologists: Practical Tools for Student Regulation, Anxiety, and Resilience
This workshop will not be recorded.
Students today are experiencing increasing levels of stress, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and trauma-related challenges that can interfere with learning, behavior, and assessment. School psychologists need practical tools that can be used efficiently in real-world settings.
This interactive training introduces Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping), an evidence-informed mind-body approach that combines focused attention with acupressure tapping points to help calm the stress response and improve emotional regulation.
Participants will learn how EFT can be adapted for use in schools and private practice settings to support students with anxiety, crisis de-escalation, test stress, emotional overwhelm, transitions, and self-regulation needs. Applications for classrooms, counseling sessions, assessments, and staff wellness will also be discussed.
Attendees will leave with practical tapping strategies they can begin using immediately with students and for their own stress management.
