Explaining the Results of Your Comprehensive Evaluation Succinctly

You have just completed your comprehensive evaluation of the student. You wrote a legally defensible report. Now, you just need to explain it to a parent and the team. How do you do this in a succinct manner? That is what we are going to discuss during this webinar. We are going to take the results of your evaluation which likely includes jargon, scores, and qualitative descriptors galore, and explore ways to verbally explain this in a manner that is most useful to the team. Summarizing pages of information and explaining what you truly learned about this student can be daunting. So, let's discuss!

Jenny Ponzuric obtained her school psych credential in 1999 and since that time, she has worked as a school psychologist, trainer and consultant, administrator, and mentor for school psychologists. Jenny is the Past President of the California Association of School Psychologists and obtained her school neuropsych certificate. In addition to having a private practice in southern CA, Jenny also spends time providing trainings on topics such as learning disabilities, MTSS, dyslexia, and more!

This course meets the qualifications for 2 hours of continuing education credit for LEPs, LMFTs, LPCCs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. This course also qualifies for 2 hours of continuing professional development for Nationally Certified School Psychologists, under provider number 1025.
